Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy

Our goal is to provide quality individualized veterinary care in a timely manner. We would like to remind you of our office policy regarding missed appointments. This policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients in need of medical care.

Cancellation of an Appointment

We understand that occasional missed appointments can occur for a variety of reasons. Please call Natural Healing Pet Care promptly if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment. This time will be reallocated to someone who is in need of treatment. If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call at least 48 hours in advance.

How to Cancel Your Appointment

To cancel appointments, please call 248-797-5139. You may leave a message on voicemail if applicable.

Late Cancellations/Missed Appointment Policy:

If you miss an appointment or fail to cancel with 48 hours advance notice of your appointment time, a $65 fee will be applied to your account  ($100 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT for Initial Consultations).

Cancellations, Late Arrivals and Missed Appointments and Record/Refill Requests:

 

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, as well as no-show appointments, are subject to a cancellation fee.  Cancellation fees require payment within 30 days or at the next scheduled appointment, whichever is earlier. Repeated cancellations will require full payment of expected fees when the appointment is scheduled.

Appointments for late arrivals will be shortened to meet the scheduled completion time unless time is available to enable an extension.

Financial

Payment is due the date of service in the form of cash, Mastercard, Visa or Discover.  Delayed payments are subject to a $35 fee.

Record and/or Refill Requests

Please note that we require 7-10 days’ notice for all refills. If requesting records for yourself or to have sent, please allow up to 10 days for all requests.
